Last Season, The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers faced again for the fourth time. The Western Conference Champion Golden State Warriors won by a 4-3 standing against the Houston Rockets and on the other side the Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers won by a 4-3 standing against the Boston Celtics. The Golden State Warriors swept the Cleveland Cavaliers at the 2018 NBA Finals. The Warriors won by 2 consecutive straight NBA championship.

The Warriors and the Cavaliers started their rivalry since the NBA Championship 2015. The Warriors and Cavaliers have met in four consecutive championship. Warriors have won three championships (2015, 2017 and 2018) and the Cleveland Cavaliers have won in year 2016.
Year 1946, the team was established as Philadelphia Warriors based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Year 1962, Warriors renamed as San Francisco Warriors because of relocating its franchise to the Bay Area. In 1971 the team name was change into Golden State Warriors. Until now and then the Golden State Warriors nickname was "Dubs" as shortening of "W". The Dubs is one of the team in Western Conference Pacific Division. The Dubs won 6 Championship. In 2014, The Era of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson also known as "The Splash Bros." and the other players of the team had made into NBA Championship. With the help of Andrei Iguodala, Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut, the warriors won the title and became the champion of the season 2014-2015 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Andrei Iguodala titled as the Finals Most Valuable Player and Stephen Curry also won the NBA Most Valuable Player in year 2014-2015.
In 2015, The Warriors and Cavaliers have faced again each other in the NBA Championship. The Warriors lost the championship series on their homecourt. Stephen Curry won the NBA Most Valuable Player in year 2015-2016. Curry is the 11th player who won back-to-back MVP honors.
In 2016, the former player of Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant joins the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs had won again the Western Conference Finals and made it into NBA Finals with third consecutive appearance on NBA Finals. For the third time, their rival the Cleveland Cavaliers also won the Eastern Conference Finals. The Warriors defeat the Cavaliers and won the championship after going 4-1 standing in the finals. Kevin Durant won the Finals Most Valuable Player. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green were all named to the NBA 2017 NBA All-Star Game.
The NBA Season 2017-2018 start. The Warriors went into the 2018 playoffs and faced the Spurs and Pelicans After beating the two teams, the warriors came up against the top-seeding team the Rockets. Warriors defeat the Rockets with a 4-3 standing. The 2018 NBA finals once again pitted the Warriors against their rival the Cavaliers, becoming the first time in NBA history that two teams met in the finals in four consecutive years. The Warriors won their 2nd straight consecutive NBA Championship after beating the cavaliers with a swept 4-0 standing in the Finals. The finals mark as the first NBA sweep since 2007. July 6, 2018, Demarcus "Boogie" Cousin a Former All-Star Player of New Orleans Pelicans joins the Golden State Warriors. And now, the Dubs have Five All-Star Players Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Demarcus Cousins.

The team began in year 1970 owned by Nick Mileti. The Cleveland Cavaliers or also known as "Cavs" are an american professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The second franchiser of the team is Ted Stepien in 1980 - 1983. George and Gordon Grund purchased the franchised in 1983 and in 2005 until now the franchiser of the team is Dan Gilbert. The homecourt of the cavs is located at the Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavs is one of the member of the league in Eastern Conference Central Division.
Year 2003, The Cleveland Cavaliers landed the number one draft pick in NBA Lottery. With it, the team selected the local high school phenomenon and future NBA MVP Lebron James.
In NBA season 2006-2007, The Cavaliers won the Eastern Conference Finals against the Detroit Piston with a 4-2 standing. The team's first NBA Finals was a short one, as the San Antonio Spurs swept the Cavs 4-0.
July 8, 2010, Lebron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers and joined the Miami Heat. Many of the fans felt betrayed and angered to Lebron because of his decision, some of his jerseys were burned.
2011, The Cavs took Duke Blue Devils guard Kyrie Irving with the first pick. The Cavs start rebuilding the team with Kyrie Irving.
In 2014, Lebron James came back to Cleveland Cavaliers. With Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Jr Smith and Tristan Thompson, the Cavs made into the NBA Playoffs in the East. The Cavs faced the Boston Celtics and beat them in a swept 4-0 standing. In the second round, Chicago Bulls lost in Game 6 and the Cavs came up to Eastern Conference Finals against Atlanta Hawks. Cavs dominated the Hawks with a 4-0 standing and trip to the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs lost to the Warriors in 2015 NBA Championship on Cleveland's home court in game 6.

The Cavs entered the 2015-2016 NBA season and entered the NBA playoffs as the first seed in the Eastern with a 57-25 record. The Cavaliers once again advanced through the first three rounds of the playoffs virtually unchallenged. The Cavaliers faced a rematch with the Golden State Warriors. The NBA finals came up to Game 7, as the two teams were get tied at game 6. In Game 7 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, the cavaliers emerged victorious with a 93-89 win to earn the city's first professional sports title in 52 years. Lebron James named as the Unanimous Finals Most Valuable Player and became the 3rd player to have a triple double in game 7 of the NBA Finals. The Cavs was the first team to successfully overcome a 3-1 deficit in the finals.
In 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers entered again in NBA Playoffs and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after winning the first two rounds. The Cavs defeat the Boston Celtics and made into NBA Finals with the 3rd consecutive appearance. The Cleveland Cavalier faced again their rival the Golden State Warriors. The Cleveland lost to the warriors with a 4-1 standing.
In 2017, Kyrie Irving left the Cleveland Cavaliers and joined to the Boston Celtics. With the loss of one All-star player, the Cleveland Cavaliers had adjust their plays. With the help of Kevin Love, Jr Smith, Tristan Thompson and George Hill, the Cavaliers entered again in the NBA playoffs. Winning the first two rounds, the Cavs have entered again in 4th consecutive appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. After defeating the Boston Celtics, the Cavs and Warriors met again in 4th consecutive NBA Finals. The Warriors dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers with a complete swept 4-0 standing. July 9, 2018, Lebron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers and went to Los Angeles Lakers.
